The Oppo Find X is known for its pop-up camera mechanism, but it looks like Oppo is prepping a new version of the Find X that'll grab attention for another reason.
A new version of the Oppo Find X is coming with 10GB of RAM. That'll make it likely the first smartphone to have 10 gigs of RAM inside its shell, as the version of the Find X that's available now offers 8GB of RAM.
Evidence of the upgraded Oppo Find X was found inside the TENAA database, which is like China's version of the FCC. It hasn't been officially announced by Oppo yet, so it's unclear when the new Find X might launch or how much it'll cost when it does.
We've already seen several smartphones come to market with 8GB of RAM, including the OnePlus 6 and Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S, so it was only a matter of time before a phone with 10GB of RAM came along. And while Oppo may be the first company to launch a phone with 10GB of RAM, it won't be the last, as the smartphone market is in a specs race where companies are always trying to one-up each other to make their products stand out.
