One month after arriving on Amazon Fire TV devices, HBO Max is now making its way to two more major platforms.

HBO Max is now available on the PlayStation 5. The PS5 has been pretty tough to come by in the month since its launch, but anyone who's been lucky enough to snag one can now stream HBO on their new console.

And tomorrow, HBO Max will go live on Roku devices, too. On December 17, Roku owners can download the HBO Max app from the Roku channel store and subscribe to HBO Max directly on their Roku if they're not already a customer.

These are two major additions for HBO Max ahead of what's going to be a big year for the platform. The new film Wonder Woman 1984 will be available to HBO Max subscribers at no extra charge on December 25, the same day that the film launches in theatres. And in 2021, all 17 Warner Bros. movies will be available on HBO Max on the same day as their theatrical release, also at no extra charge for HBO Max subscribers.
