One of the main aspects of TikTok is that videos can only be 1 minute long. But soon that limit might be tripled.
TikTok is testing the ability to upload videos that are up to 3 minutes long. Social media consultant Matt Navarra shared on Twitter that they got early access to this feature, receiving an alert in the TikTok app that describes the 3-minute length as being "early access".

There haven't been any official announcements from TikTok about this feature, so it's unclear how many people have it or when or if it might roll out more widely.
The 1-minute limit on videos might be frustrating for some, but it's also resulted in some creative clips as people making the videos come up with different ways to make entertaining videos that are 60 seconds or less. Upping the limit to 3 minutes could allow creators to do more things with their videos, but those longer videos would also begin to stray out of "bite-size" territory.
Would you like to see 3-minute TikTok videos or do you think the service should stick with its 1-minute limit?
