Whenever a major new Android update is released, many people start wondering when their device will be upgraded. Today we're getting some info on when Samsung will roll Android 11 out to its various devices.
Samsung this week released its roadmap for the One UI 3.0 update, which is based on Android 11 (via SamMobile). While this schedule is specifically for Egypt, it does give the rest of us an idea of when Samsung is aiming to have the One UI 3.0 upgrade complete for all of its Galaxy products.
Here's what the schedule looks like:
The update to One UI 3.0 includes Android 11 features like a dedicated Conversations section in your notification shade for ongoing chats, Bubbles that'll keep your chats on top of your active apps, and new media controls in Quick Settings.
Samsung is also adding more Dynamic Lock Screen images in One UI 3.0, making improvements to the Internet app like blocking websites from redirecting you when tap the back button, and an improved Contacts app with better search and the ability to quickly delete duplicates.
