A YouTube Premium subscription offers several benefits, but perhaps the best is that you won't see any ads while watching videos. And right now, you can get YouTube Premium for free.
Google is now offering YouTube Premium free for three months. Just navigate to the YouTube Premium site, click the "Try It Free" button, and your three-month free trial will begin.
This offer ends December 6 and is only available for eligible new members, so you'll need to be a first-time YouTube Red, Music Premium, YouTube Premium, or Google Play Music subscriber to get it.
Also of note is that after your three-month free trial is over, you'll automatically begin to be charged the $11.99 per month price for YouTube Premium unless you cancel. YouTube says it'll send you a reminder seven days before your trial ends, but you may want to set a reminder in your calendar to help you avoid a surprise charge.
In addition to ad-free YouTube videos, a YouTube Premium subscription allows you to play videos on your phone while running other apps and while your screen is locked. You can also download videos for offline watching. YouTube Music Premium in included, too, giving you millions of songs to stream ad-free and the ability to save them for offline listening.
