One week after unleashing iOS 14.2 to the public, Apple has begun testing the next big iOS update with its developers.

iOS 14.3 beta 1 is now available to registered developers (via MacRumors). If that's you, then you can grab the first iOS 14.3 beta release over the air or through Apple's Developer Center on the web.

Public testers in the Apple Beta Software Program will likely get iOS 14.3 beta 1 in the coming days. Anyone can enroll in this program free of charge and beta test iOS updates before they're released to the public. If you're interested in signing up, you can do so here.

Because this is the first beta of iOS 14.3 and it just started rolling out, there's no word yet on what changes Apple has included. There are likely some new features packed in since this is an x.1 release, and we can probably expect some bug fixes and performance improvements, too. Once testers get the update installed and are able to spend some time with it, we should learn more about the new features packed inside.

UPDATE: According to MacRumors, the iOS 14.3 beta includes support for Apple's ProRAW photo format, a feature exclusive to the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max that retains more data to give you more control over editing, but also uses Apple image pipeline data like noise reduction. ProRAW photos clock in at around 25MB each.

The update also includes a new Cardio Fitness feature for the Apple Watch, code that hints at support for third-party item trackers in the Find My app, and support for the PlayStation 5's DualSense controller as well as Amazon's Luna controller.
