Nearly two years ago, the Nokia 9 PureView (shown above) launched as a new flagship Android phone with a penta-camera setup. Now we're finally starting to hear rumblings about that phone's follow-up.
A new report says that the Nokia 10 PureView is now in an "early development phase" at HMD Global. According to Nokiapoweruser, this new model could have a stainless steel frame and an edge-to-edge display similar to the Nokia 8 Sirocco.
The Nokia 10 PureView is also expected to have a multi-lens rear camera setup, but it's unclear exactly how many cams HMD Global may include. One of the main features of the Nokia 9 PureView is its penta-camera array, and so we could definitely see HMD Global use a similar penta-camera setup on the Nokia 10 PureView.
Finally, it's said that the Nokia 10 PureView could be powered by Qualcomm's next flagship processor, the as-of-yet-unannounced Snapdragon 875.
The Nokia 10 PureView could launch in the second half of 2021.
HMD Global has offered a lot of solid, affordable Android phones and supported them with regular updates. As we mentioned before, though, it's been nearly two years since we've gotten a top-end Nokia flagship, and so there are likely some folks who'd love to get their hands on a new Nokia phone with high-end specs like a Snapdragon 800 series chipset.
