Xbox Series X and S now available to pre-order in the US

Following months of leaks, teases, and announcements, the Xbox Series X and Series S consoles are now available for pre-order in the US.

The Xbox Series X and Series S consoles are available from several different retailers, so if you don't get lucky at one of them you can try another.

Here are the links to pre-order:

Microsoft hasn't said exactly how many Xbox Series X and Series S consoles will be available, but there's a lot of excitement around them so they're not likely to last long.

As a refresher, the Xbox Series X specs include an 8-core custom AMD Zen 2 CPU and a custom RDNA 2 GPU with 12 teraflops of performance. It supports up to 4K resolution and up to 120fps for games and includes a 4K UHD Blu-Ray Drive. There's 1TB of storage and 16GB of RAM, plus an HDMI 2.1 port, ethernet port, and three USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports.

Then there's the Xbox Series S. It features the same custom AMD Zen 2 CPU as the Series X, but the GPU puts out 4 teraflops of performance. The Xbox Series S can still play games at up to 1440p resolution and up to 120fps. There is no disc drive included but Microsoft is including 512GB of built-in storage. There's 10GB of RAM, too, plus one HDMI 2.1 port, three USB 3.1 ports, and an ethernet port.

Both the Xbox Series X and Series S will officially launch on November 10.
