Samsung is going to fully detail the Galaxy Z Fold 2 on September 1, but today it looks like the prematurely revealed one of the most important pieces of info: the price.
Samsung UK briefly began taking pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 today, listing the new foldable with a price tag of £1,799 for a model with 256GB of built-in storage and a ship by date of September 17 (via Reddit). It looks like pre-orders weren't actually supposed to begin yet, though, because Samsung has since removed the price and pre-order button.
While that price tag definitely isn't cheap, it is actually a bit less than the original Galaxy Fold's price of £1,900 for a 512GB model.
We still don't know how much the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will cost in the US, but it could be around $1,799. The Galaxy Fold costs £1,900 in the UK and $1,980 in the US, so it's possible that we could see a similar situation with the Galaxy Z Fold 2.
If this Galaxy Z Fold 2 pricing is the real deal, what do you think of it? Will you be buying Samsung's new foldable when it launches?
