T-Mobile recently revealed that it'll unify the T-Mo and Sprint brands on August 2, marking another major milestone in the merger of the two companies. And to celebrate, T-Mobile is rolling out a special deal.
Starting July 24, T-Mobile will offer four lines of unlimited service for $100 per month. That means you'll be paying just $25 per line, and you can get two more lines for just $20 each if you want them.
This price does not include taxes and fees, so you'll end up paying a bit more when those are factored in. You'll also need to enroll in autopay to get that $100/month price. If you opt out of autopay, you'll pay an additional $5 per line per month.
With this deal, each line will be getting the T-Mobile Essentials plan. This includes unlimited talk, text, and 4G LTE data, plus 5G access at no extra charge if you've got a 5G-capable device. Unlimited 3G mobile hotspot is included, too, as is T-Mobile Tuesdays deals and unlimited talk, text, and 2G data in Mexico and Canada.
The T-Mobile Essentials plan does limit video streaming to SD quality, and T-Mo says customers may experience slower data speeds during times of congestion. Also of note is that there is no Netflix included with the Essentials plan like there is on the Magenta plan.
If you do decide to jump on this 4/$100 deal, you can also get a deal on a new phone to go with it. T-Mobile is offering the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G for just $5 per line per month with an eligible trade-in.
Folks who are happy with their current plan can get a deal on a new phone, too. T-Mobile is offering existing T-Mo customers and legacy Sprint customers the Galaxy A71 5G for free or half-off the Galaxy S20 5G with bill credits and eligible trade-in.
T-Mobile says that these deals will launch on July 24 and will be available for a limited time.
