A new month means another new round of security updates for Google's Pixel phones.
Google today released its July 2020 update for the Pixel series. The update is available for the Pixel 2 and 2 XL, Pixel 3 and 3 XL, Pixel 3a and 3a XL, and Pixel 4 and 4 XL. If you've got one of those devices, here's the build number you should be looking for:
This update is rolling out over the air now, so you should see it on your compatible Pixel device in the coming days. As always, Google is also offering factory images and OTA images of these new updates if you'd prefer to install that way.
There's an Android Security Bulletin and a Pixel Security Bulletin available if you'd like to read up on the vulnerabilities that've been patched in this month's update.
Google hasn't listed any functional patches in this update for Pixel bug fixes. We'll update this post if that changes.
