We've seen several upcoming Samsung devices leak out in recent weeks, and today we can add another one to the list.
New renders claim to show the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7. The images, shared by OnLeaks and Pigtou, show a tablet with the same overall design as the Galaxy Tab S6 but with a couple notable changes.
Samsung appears to be making landscape the default orientation of the Galaxy Tab S7. The front-facing camera is located on one of the longer sides of the Tab S7 rather than at the top of the screen like on the Tab S6, plus the Samsung logo on the back of the Tab S7 is oriented correctly when the device is held in landscape mode rather than portrait.
There's a pill-shaped dual rear camera setup on the back of the Tab S7 as well as what looks to be a spot where an S Pen could attach magnetically, just like on the Tab S6. This leaked Galaxy Tab S7 also has power and volume buttons on its right side, a USB-C port on the bottom, and what looks to be four speaker cutouts.
Spec details for the Galaxy Tab S7 are still light, but today's report claims that the upcoming Samsung tablet will have an 11-inch screen and a 7760mAh battery. A model with 5G support is also rumored to be in the works.
The Galaxy Tab S7's dimensions are reportedly 253.7mm x 165.3mm x 6.3mm. To compare, the Galaxy Tab S6 measures 244.6mm x 159.5mm x 5.6mm.
Rumors have said that the Galaxy Tab S7 could be officially revealed at a Samsung event on August 5 alongside the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Fold 2. We don't see a ton of high-end Android tablets come to market anymore, and so it's good to see Samsung keeping up its flagship Galaxy Tab S lineup for folks who want a premium Android tablet.
