After kicking off a new round of iOS betas the other day, Apple is now starting testing of a new watchOS release as well.
watchOS 6.2.8 beta 1 is now available to developers (via 9to5Mac). This comes just a couple of days after Apple released watchOS 6.2.6 to the public.
This is the first beta release of watchOS 6.2.8, and so there's no word yet on exactly what changes might be inside. Because it's a 6.x.x release, though, it's likely this update is focused on bug fixes and performance improvements rather than introducing major new features.
As for a public release, Apple will likely released a few more watchOS 6.2.8 betas before unleashing the final update on the public.
