There was already a lot of big Google Stadia news this week, like the launch of PUBG and the news that Madden NFL and FIFA are coming to the service later this year, but today Google's got a bit more Stadia info to share.
Google confirmed today that Stadia is now compatible with the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro. This means you can play Stadia games on the new OnePlus flagships when you have a gamepad like a Stadia Controller, DualShock 4, or Xbox controller.
The other Stadia-compatible Android phones include the Pixel 2 and 2 XL; Pixel 3 and 3 XL; Pixel 3a and 3a XL; Pixel 4 and 4 XL; Samsung Galaxy S8, S9, S10, and S20 series phones; Galaxy Note 8, Note 9, and Note 10 series devices; the ASUS ROG Phone and ROG Phone II; and Razer Phone and Razer Phone II.
The OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro are two highly anticipated Android flagships that are well-specced, and so it's good to see them gain Google Stadia support at their launch. Google's gaming service is still young, and so expanding support to new and popular devices like these OnePlus flagships is necessary to help Stadia to grow.
Google also confirmed today that when you're playing Stadia on a smartphone, you can press the Capture button on a Stadia Controller to save gameplay screenshots and clips.
