FitSpark is a training guide that can get you daily workouts bsed on your training history, and for extended workout sessions, a feature called FuelWise can give you nutrition and refueling reminders to help you maintain proper energy and hydration.
There are several features of the Polar Grit X that are designed to help you recover from your workout and relax at night, too. Nightly Recharge will show you how well you recover from the day and into the night, while Serene uses guided breathing exercise to help you relax. And at night, Sleep Plus Stages will give you insights into your sleep quality.
Polar says the Grit X weighs 64 grams and can get up to 40 hours of continuous training with both GPS and heart rate features on. If you need to push the battery life even farther, there are power saving options available that can get you up to 100 hours of battery life.
When it comes to raw specs, the Polar Grit X features a 1.2-inch 240x240 touchscreen, 346mAh battery, a custom USB cable for charging and data sync, and a body that measures 47 x 47 x 13mm. The Grit X is compatible with standard 22mm quick release watch bands.
The Polar Grit X is available starting today for $429.95 in black and green and in S/M and M/L sizes. Polar will sell additional silicon accessory bands for $29.95 apiece as well as textile bands for $39.95 each and a leather band for $49.95.
While it may be pricier than some other watches on the market, the Polar Grit X's large number of different fitness features that could make it a good fit for someone whose main priority with the watch is training and exercise.
