Google is making a few small but notable updates to its Digital Wellbeing suite of tools.
A new update for the Digital Wellbeing app on Android has been rolling out recently that changes the "Wind Down" feature to "Bedtime Mode". Spotted by 9to5Google, this name change also removes the dedicated toggle for grayscale from the Quick Settings menu, but you can still find a toggle inside Bedtime Mode itself.
The "Wind Down" section includes tools like grayscale, Night Light, and Do Not Disturb, all of which most people would probably use when they're getting ready for bed. So the change to "Bedtime Mode" makes it a little more clear exactly what tools are in that section of Digital Wellbeing.
Along with that name change, Google has a new icon for the "Focus Mode" included in Digital Wellbeing. This used to just be a circle, but now it's a circle with curved lines on its left and right sides.
