Some folks may be feeling a bit lonely while they're quarantining and social distancing due to the coronavirus. To help them, Facebook is rolling out new care emojis.
On Facebook, a new care reaction that shows an emoji person hugging a heart will begin rolling out globally next week. You can use this to react to posts, comments, images, videos, and more both in the Facebook app and the website.
Messenger is getting a new reaction of its own. You can get the new pulsating heart reaction by tapping and holding down on the existing heart reaction and selecting the new one. Just do the same thing if you want to change it back.
"The most popular stickers on Messenger are all heart related, and now people can react in their conversations with even more emotion to show love and care to their people, no matter where they might be," Facebook explains.
On Facebook, we will launch a seventh Reaction alongside the existing six. The new Care Reaction will start rolling out next week globally and you can use it to react to posts, comments, images, videos, or other content on the app and https://t.co/t0PZL74vjg pic.twitter.com/PkpbCoPc4F
