With many people self-isolating at home due to the coronavirus, there are lots of folks out there burning through their queue of entertainment and looking for new shows and movies to watch. HBO wants to help.
HBO is making nearly 500 hours of its content free to watch starting today, April 3rd. This includes popular shows like Barry, Silicon Valley, The Sopranos, Succession, Veep, and The Wire as well as documentaries like The Apollo and The Case Against Adnan Syed.
Also available are several movies, including films like Pokémon Detective Pikachu, The Bridges of Madison County, Sucker Punch, The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part, and Crazy, Stupid, Love.
All of these shows and movies will be available for the entire month of April. To watch, you can download the HBO Now (Android, iOS) or HBO Go (Android, iOS) apps or visit HBONow.com or HBOGo.com.
HBO has become well-known for its original series like The Sopranos, The Wire, and Succession, some of which are considered by many to be some of the best TV ever made.
