ZTE today took the wraps off of the Axon 11 5G, its newest flagship smartphone, and it's got a focus on video recording.

Touted as ZTE's "first 5G video smartphone", the Axon 11 5G features rear camera setup that's capable of capturing 4K video at 60 frames per second (fps). Both the 64MP main camer and 8MP wide angle camera support video stabilization to make your videos smoother, and ZTE is also including video editing tools with special effects, transitions, filters, and music.

That 8MP wide angle camera can also snap photos with a 120-degree field of view, and there's a 2MP macro camera for close-up shots. A depth of field cam is also available to help you capture portrait mode images.

The front of the ZTE Axon 11 5G features a 20MP selfie camera that lives in a waterdrop notch at the top of a 6.47-inch 2340x1080 AMOLED screen. It also features an in-display fingerprint sensor, 3D quad curved glass, and a 92% screen-to-body ratio.

Inside the Axon 11 5G is a Snapdragon 765G processor with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of built-in storage. There are dual SIM slots with the second slot doubling as a microSD slot that'll let you add up to 2TB of additional storage, too. And the 4000mAh battery can use Qualcomm's Quick Charge 4+ tech to help you refill that battery in a hurry.

As you might've guessed by its name, ZTE's new phone also boasts 5G support. ZTE touts that its Link-Booster tech enables the Axon 11 5G to analyze the network conditions and seamlessly switch between Wi-Fi and cellular networks as well as offer boosted download speeds by using both networks.

All of those features are packed into a body that's 7.9mm thick and weighs 168 grams (5.9 ounces), and ZTE touts that that makes the Axon 11 5G is the lightest 5G smartphone on the market.

The ZTE Axon 11 5G is now available for pre-order in China starting at RMB 2,698 ($380 USD) for the 6GB/128GB model.
