After we got an early peek at the Motorola Edge+'s curved edge display last month, the design of the entire device may have leaked out.
New renders claim to show the Motorola Edge+. These aren't official images made by Motorola, but instead renders based on factory CAD images that've been shared by OnLeaks and Pricebaba.
The renders show a Motorola phone with a curved edge display. The edges don't go completely down the device's sides, though, because we can see power and volume buttons on the right side. There's also some top and bottom bezel present here along with a hole-punch in the upper-left corner of the screen.
We can see a hole-punch for the Motorola Edge+'s selfie camera in the upper-left corner of the screen, and an in-display fingerprint reader is said to be included, too.
Around back there's a triple rear camera setup in a protruding camera bump along with a separate housing for the flash and sensors. The bottom of the phone is home to a USB-C port for charging and on the top is a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Previous reports have suggested that the Motorola Edge+ could feautre a 6.67-inch screen with 90Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 865, 8/12GB of RAM, and a whopping 5169mAh battery. It's also rumored that a launch on Verizon with 5G support could be in the plans.
It feels like it's been a while since we've seen a true, high-end flagship from Motorola, but that looks to be a role that this Edge+ could fill. We don't yet know all of its specs, like what those cameras are capable of, but rumors of a large display with a high refresh rate, a big battery, and a Snapdragon 865 definitely have us intrigued by this upcoming phone.
