Spotify is one of the biggest music streaming apps around, and soon its users will be greeted by a refreshed user interface.
With this update, Spotify says that it's streamlining its app's user interface and making it easier to use. This includes a simpler, more universal Shuffle Play button that gives you a big green play button to easily start playing music with a shuffle button attached for quicker access to that feature.
Another change is to add an Action Row that gives you all the actions you could want in one place. That includes liking a song, downloading music (which has a new icon), and playing music. The row is more adaptive, too, and responds to the size of your display.
Spotify's update will also show you a track's cover art in more places. It'll now be in all views except "Album" view, with the goal to make it easier to navigate the app and find familiar songs.
The update brings bolder, brighter images, too, plus the ability to like playlists.
Spotify says that this new update is rolling out today on iOS and is coming soon to Android. Let us know when you see it!
