Google hasn't said when its new Pixel Buds will launch, but if you're already convinced that you want a pair, you can pre-order the truly wireless earbuds right now.
B&H Photo is now accepting pre-orders for the Google Pixel Buds in white (via 9to5Google). Pricing is set at $179.00 but B&H doesn't have a launch date listed, saying only that the Pixel Buds are "coming soon".
When Google announced the Pixel Buds back in October, it said that the new earbuds would launch in spring 2020. Spring begins in around one month, so we could be close to a release, but Google hasn't shared any updated launch info recently.
The new Pixel Buds feature a few improvements over the original model. Perhaps the biggest is that they're truly wireless, meaning you don't have to deal with a wire connecting the two earbuds and resting on your neck like the original Pixel Buds.
Adaptive Sound is another new feature of the second gen Pixel Buds. With this feature, the earbuds will adjust the volume based on your surroundings so that you don't have to keep fiddling with it yourself. Google says the new Pixel Buds can also get a seal in your ear for better sound.
