Right on schedule, Google has begun rolling out its February security patches for Pixel phones.
Google today announced the February 2020 Android security updates. They should now begin rolling out over the air to the Pixel 2 and 2 XL, Pixel 3 and 3 XL, Pixel 3a and 3a XL, and Pixel 4 and 4 XL.
If you'd prefer to sideload a factory image or OTA image of Google's new update, those are available as well.
The February 2020 security update fixes vulnerabilities related to the framework and system.
As usual, Google has some functional patches for its Pixel phones in the new update, too. Pixel 4 and 4 XL owners can expect a fix for a big that causes some devices to get stuck during boot, as well as a fix for overexposure while recording video in certain scenarios.
