There have been a few leaks lately giving us a look at the design of the Galaxy S20+, but today the newest leak is focused on the specs powering Samsung's next big thing.
The spec details for the Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra have reportedly leaked out. According to the lists shared by MySmartPrice and Ishan Agarwal, all three phones will share some of the same specs, but there will also be a some features unique to each model.
All three Galaxy S20 variants are expected to have an AMOLED screen with Infinity O hole-punch, 3200x1440 resolution, and 120Hz refresh rate. The big difference between the three phones will be screen size, with the Galaxy S20 being the smallest at 6.2 inches while the S20+ and S20 Ultra are much larger at 6.7 and 6.9 inches, respectively.
The rear camera arrays on the Galaxy S20 and S20+ will reportedly include a 12MP main cam, 64MP telephoto sensor and 12MP ultra-wide snapper. Both the S20 and S20 Ultra may have a 3x optical zoom on that telephoto camera, and the Galaxy S20+ is also expected to have a Time of Flight (ToF) sensor for grabbing depth info. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S20 Ultra may be upgraded to a 108MP main camera, 48MP telephoto cam with 10x optical zoom, 12MP ultra-wide cam, and a ToF sensor.
Around front, the Galaxy S20 and S20+ will allegedly get a 10MP selfie camera inside their hole-punch. The Galaxy S20 Ultra could be bumped to a 40MP selfie cam.
Another big difference between the three phones is battery size. The Galaxy S20 could come with a 4000mAh battery while the Galaxy S20+ will get a 4500mAh battery and the Galaxy S20 Ultra could come packing a whopping 5000mAh battery pack.
Other notable specs of the three upcoming Galaxy flagships include 128GB of built-in storage (with a 512GB option on the Ultra), a microSD card slot, IP68 water and dust resistance, and Android 10 with One UI 2. All three models are also expected to have Samsung's Exynos 990 processor in some markets, while others (like the U.S.) will likely get a Snapdragon 865.
There are some nice upgrades in this leaked Galaxy S20 spec list, and we're looking forward to checking out Samsung's 120Hz display (even if it is limited to FHD resolution) and that 108MP camera on the Galaxy S20 Ultra. There are some things that could frustrate some folks, though, like the smallest screen size being 6.2 inches and the removal of the 3.5mm headphone jack.
