We started the week by checking out the new OnePlus Concept One and its futuristic glass, and now we're headed towards the end of the week with some news on older OnePlus phones.
The OnePlus 5 and 5T are now being updated to OxygenOS 9.0.10. This update is focused on security and stability, bringing the December 2019 Android security patches as well asn "improved system stability and general bug fixes".
Like most other OnePlus updates, this one's going out to a small number of users at first. After a few days go by and OnePlus can confirm that everything is working as it should, a broader rollout will begin.
Both the OnePlus 5 and 5T are a couple of years old now, so it's good to see them continue to get security and stability updates for the folks who are still rocking them. OnePlus has said that it plans to bring Android 10 to both phones, too, with a release targeted for Q2 2020.
