Satechi has introduced a couple of notable new charging devices at CES 2020.
First up is a new desktop charger that can output a whopping 108W of power. It's got two USB-C Power Delivery (PD) ports, one that can output 90W and one with 18W. With that high-powered USB-C port, you can charge laptops like a MacBook Pro or Surface Pro, and you can use the other USB-C port for a tablet or phone without downgrading power.
There are also a pair of USB-A ports (total of 12W) for charging other devices.
Satechi's new 108W Pro USB-C PD Desktop Charger features heat-resistant materials and complies with CE, ETL, USBIF, and FCC standards. You can order one right now for $79.99 from Amazon or direct from Satechi.
There are lots of wall chargers and desktop chargers on the market, including some that are powerful enough to charge a laptop. What's notable about this new Satechi model is that it can output 90W and 18W of power in its two USB-C ports without downgrading power, letting you recharge two hungry devices at high speeds.
Also announced by Satechi this week is the Trio Wireless Charging Pad. This device can charge an Apple Watch, an AirPods 2 or AirPods Pro case, and an iPhone (up to 7.5W) or other Qi-enabled smartphone all at once. Plus, the wireless charger for the Apple Watch can be flipped up to enable Nightstand Mode on your smartwatch while it's charging.
The Trio Wireless Charging Pad has three LED lights to let you know when the devices are charging. There are also safety features like foreign object detection and over temperature protection, and Satechi says the charging pad can automatically detect an issue and cut off power when necessary.
Satechi's Trio Wireless Charging Pad is priced at $119.99 and is now available from Amazon and Satechi. It's got a clean, attractive look, and so if you're an Apple user who was interested in AirPower before Apple cancelled it, this Trio Wireless Charging Pad could be worth a look.
