One week after nearly doubling its low-band 5G coverage, AT&T has revealed that it's also expanded its other flavor of 5G.
AT&T 5G+ recently went live in parts of 12 new cities. Here's where you can find it
With this expansion, AT&T 5G+ is available in parts of 35 cities.
AT&T's 5G+ coverage uses millimeter wave (mmWave) spectrum, which offers super fast speeds but doesn't reach as far or penetrate buildings as well as low-band 5G, which AT&T offers in 19 cities.
There are currently two AT&T devices that can access this 5G+ coverage: the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G and Netgear Nighthawk 5G Hotspot Router. However, AT&T's 5G+ network is still only available to business customers. Regular folks like you and me can access AT&T's low-band 5G network with the Note 10+ 5G. There's no word from AT&T on when the 5G+ network might become available to consumers.
