OnePlus is hosting a "special event" next month, and now we know a bit more about what the company has planned.
OnePlus will show its first concept phone at its CES 2020 event. The phone is referred to as the OnePlus Concept One, and OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has teased that the device is the first in a series that his company has planned.
"The name itself, Concept One, is a clear promise that this device is only the first in a series to come and shows our commitment to applied, innovative technology - bringing users an ever smoother, faster, and more 'burdenless' experience," Lau teased. "The OnePlus Concept One, demonstrates a vision of both new technology and alternate design approach for the future of smartphones."
There aren't any details about what kind of specs or design the OnePlus Concept One might have. The good news is that OnePlus's reveal isn't far off, because the phone will be shown at CES 2020 from January 7th through January 10th.
Because this is a concept phone and not its new flagship meant to be marketed to the masses, there are a lot of things this OnePlus Concept One could be. Perhaps its a new take on the folding phone trend, or it could be something else entirely. What do you think OnePlus has planned for its first concept phone?
On the 6th anniversary of our founding, our commitment to doing things differently and pushing boundaries is stronger than ever.
