Today Google released the December 2019 security update for Pixel devices, and all models started getting it except two: the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL. Now we know when those updates will arrive.
Google today confirmed in the Pixel Phone Help forums that the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will begin receiving the December 2019 update next week. Also revealed are the build numbers that Pixel 4 and 4 XL owners should look for:

Google also says that the update brings "hundreds of various fixes and improvements across many areas including performance, stability, camera, display, and face unlock." Keep an eye out for it next week, Pixel 4 and 4 XL owners!
