Now that Samsung has officially begun testing its Android 10 update with users, lots of Galaxy owners are probably wondering when their device will get its official taste of Android 10. That information appears to have trickled out this week.
Samsung's Android 10 update schedule has been discovered in the Samsung Members app, giving us a roadmap of which devices will be updated to Android 10 and when the update will begin rolling out. SamMobile spotted the roadmap in India and a Reddit user in the UK found it as well.
Here's what Samsung's Android 10 update plans look like in the UK:
January
March
April
May
June
July
August
September
According to this schedule, we could see Android 10 hitting the Galaxy S9, S10, Note 9, and Note 10 phones as soon as January, which is exciting for owners of Samsung's recent flagships. Unfortunately for owners of the Galaxy S8 and Note 8, those models are missing from Samsung's roadmap, suggesting that they may not get an update to Android 10.
One other thing to note is that as with any software update, timing will vary between countries and carriers. And so while this schedule gives us an idea of when Samsung plans to have its Android 10 updates ready, we'll have to wait a bit longer to see exactly when the updates will begin rolling out in each region of the globe.
