The Galaxy S11 is one of the most hotly anticipated phones of 2020, but a new leak has revealed the design of Samsung's upcoming flagship while we're still in 2019.
New renders from 91mobiles and OnLeaks claim to show off the Galaxy S11 with some notable design changes from the Galaxy S10. Perhaps the most notable tweak involves the rear cameras. Rather than a horizontal line of cameras that are centered on the phone's backside like on the S10, the S11 will reportedly have five rear cameras and an LED flash arranged in a rectangle in the upper left corner of the device.
Rumors say that the Galaxy S11 will include three regular cameras and a Time of Flight (ToF) sensors, but the fifth sensor is a mystery. The cameras will reportedly include a 108MP snapper, support for 5X optical zoom, and features like Night Hyperlapse and 8K video recording.
Around front, Samsung is expected to move the Galaxy S11's hole-punch camera to the center of the top of the screen, just like on the Galaxy Note 10. Past rumors have said that the Galaxy S11 series will be offered in three screen sizes: 6.2 or 6.4-inch, 6.7-inch, and 6.9-inch.
Other notable details of the Galaxy S11 include volume and power buttons on the right side and a USB-C port on the bottom with speakers on the right and a microphone on the left. This Galaxy S11 does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is a change from the S10 which was the last Samsung flagship to have a 3.5mm jack.
The Galaxy S11 is said to measure 161.9 x 73.7 x 7.8mm. To compare, the Galaxy S10 measures 149.9 x 70.4 x 7.8mm.
In a separate report, leaker Ice universe says that the Galaxy S11+ "is not the same as S11" and that the S11+ "is Samsung's real nuclear weapon". There are no other details to go on, but that definitely has us interested in seeing what the S11+ is all about.
It's expected that Samsung will officially introduce the Galaxy S11 in mid-to-late February, which would be one year after the debut of the Galaxy S10. What do you think of this leaked Galaxy S11 design?
