One month after Samsung began offering an Android 10 beta to Galaxy S10 phones in the U.S., it's expanded that beta test to Galaxy Note 10 models.
Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ owners in the U.S. can now register for Samsung's Android 10 beta (via SamMobile). Just head to the Samsung Members app, register for the beta, and then check for an update and you should receive it.
One thing to note is that the beta is currently only available to unlocked Note 10 and Note 10+ models in the U.S. If you've got one, you should get version N970U1UEU2ZSK3 or N975U1UEU2ZSK3 when you update, depending on if you've got a Note 10 or Note 10+.
As for what's included in the Android 10 beta, Samsung says that incoming notifications have been made smaller so that they're a bit less distracting, and the improved Smart Lock feature will automatically adjust the color and format of your lock screen's clock and notifications to ensure that you can see them clearly.
Samsung has updated its Dark Mode, too, so that the brightness will be reduced when you're viewing content. Digital wellness improvements are also in there, with Focus Mode letting you pause distracting apps when you really need to focus and a Device Care mode that'll make sure your smartphone is running smoothly by helping to do things like clear duplicate photos.
There's still no word on when Samsung will begin pushing its Android 10 update to the public, but if you've got an unlocked Note 10 or Note 10+, you can sink your teeth into the update right now. Let us know if you do!
