A trio of new ZTE phones are launching in the U.S. this week, and two of them are hitting a U.S. carrier while the third is available unlocked.
The ZTE Blade 10, Blade 10 Prime, and Blade A7 Prime are all now available. The two Prime phones can be purchased from Visible, a provider that operates on Verizon's network in the U.S., while the Blade 10 is available unlocked direct from ZTE. Pricing starts at $99 for the ZTE Blade A7 Prime, while the Blade 10 Prime and Blade 10 are $179 each.
Visible also tells us that with its Swap program, new customers can trade in any Android device that's not compatible with its network and get a free Blade A7 Prime for free when they sign up for Visible service.
Now onto specs. The ZTE Blade 10 (shown above) features a 6.3-inch 2280x1080 display with a small notch up top where a 16MP selfie camera lives. Around back is a dual rear camera setup with 16MP and 5MP snappers and a fingerprint reader, and on the software side of things, the Blade 10 comes with Android 9 Pie preloaded.
ZTE has packed 2.0GHz octa-core MediaTek P60 processor paired with 3GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and a microSD card slot that'll let you add up to 2TB of additional storage. Finally, there's a 3200mAh battery powering the Blade 10 and a USB-C port for recharging that battery.
ZTE says that the unlocked Blade 10 is compatible with GSM networks and supports LTE bands 2/4/5/12/13/66.
The ZTE Blade 10 Prime has a similar spec list to the standard Blade 10, but it's available from Visible.
And then there's the ZTE Blade A7 Prime (shown below). It's packing a 6.09-inch 1560x720 screen, 16MP rear and 5MP front cameras, a 2.0GHz quad-core processor, 32GB of storage, and a microSD card slot. Android 9 Pie is included, too, along with a 3200mAh battery.
