We already know that anyone who buys a new iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, iPod touch or Mac will get a free year of Apple TV+, but those aren't the only people who are getting access to Apple's streaming service for free.

Students who subscribe to Apple Music will get Apple TV+ for free. The news was announced on Instagram by Hailee Steinfeld, star of the Apple TV+ show Dickinson (via 9to5Mac).

A student subscription to Apple Music costs $4.99 per month, which is half-off the normal monthly price. A subscription to Apple TV+ will cost $4.99 per month when it launches this Friday, November 1st.

This is a pretty nice deal for students, getting them the entirety of the Apple Music catalog along with all of the Apple TV+ original content for just $4.99 per month. While the Apple TV+ catalog may not be the biggest around at launch, it will have shows with big name actors, and students will continue to have access as Apple builds out its service with more content. There's no word of an end date or anything like that for this deal right now, so if you're a student, it's definitely one to consider.
