The OnePlus 7 Pro isn't quite five months old yet, but it's already disappearing from T-Mobile's shelves.
T-Mobile has pulled the OnePlus 7 Pro from its online store and is selling it in just a limited number of stores. T-Mo has told PCMag that the OP7 Pro has been removed from its website "due to low inventory."
Meanwhile, Wave7 Research says that T-Mobile has decided to swap the OnePlus 7 Pro for the OnePlus 7T because "OnePlus in the U.S. wants to focus on a single model," and that model will be the OP7T.
The OnePlus 7T is set to launch at T-Mobile on October 18. It's kind of strange to see T-Mobile yanking the less-than-six-month-old OnePlus 7 Pro but leaving the year-old OnePlus 6T on its shelves since the OnePlus 7T is a replacement for the 6T, not the 7 Pro. That said, we can also see how replacing the 7 Pro with the 7T could make things less confusing for consumers than having the 7 Pro and 7T available at the same time. The OnePlus 7 Pro is slightly older but offers a notch-free design, pop-up camera, and similar internal specs, while the OnePlus 7T is newer but cheaper. The upgrade from OnePlus 6T to OnePlus 7T is clear.r
