OnePlus today continued to trickle out teasers of its upcoming smart TV.
OnePlus CEO Pete Las posted the teaser image above to Twitter, saying that, "A more seamless and intelligent experience is coming to your home #OnePlusTV". The image shows a TV with thin black bezels mounted to a wall, and a person controlling it with a smartphone.
This is the first time that OnePlus has shown the front of its upcoming TV. While we don't really get to see much of the hardware save for the aforementioned black bezels, the image does give us a look at OnePlus's Android TV-based user interface.
So far, OnePlus has dropped a few hints about the features that its smart TV will have, like eight speakers with 50W output and Dolby Atmos as well as a QLED screen. We've also seen part of its backside, which appears to have a carbon fiber pattern.
As for when the OnePlus TV will be officially announced along with pricing info, the company has said that it's coming in September. There's a OnePlus event in India on September 26, so it's possible we'll see the full reveal this week. Stay tuned.
