OnePlus just couldn't wait until September 26 to show off its new smartphone.
The backside of the OnePlus 7T has been revealed today by OnePlus itself. OnePlus CEO Pete Lau shared a couple images of the OnePlus 7T and some design sketches in a forum post explaining how OnePlus arrived at the design for its new phone.
The OnePlus 7T features three cameras on its backside, arranged horizontally and placed inside a large circular housing. There's a flash below the center camera and some OnePlus branding.
"To convey the superior quality and effortless versatility of our Triple Camera setup, finding an elegant balance between the three unique lenses," Lau explains. "With perfect symmetry from any orientation, a circular design became the natural choice."
While there are no images of the front of the actual OnePlus 7T, the front of the device is shown in one of the design sketches posted by Lau. There appears to be a waterdrop notch at the top of the screen, much like the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 6T before it.
OnePlus has hinted that the OnePlus 7T will also include a 90Hz display like the OnePlus 7 Pro that launched earlier this year. No other details have been confirmed, but knowing how OnePlus likes to tease its new devices several times before their official launch, we could learn a bit more about the OP7T before its revealed on September 26.
