We're still waiting for Apple to release iOS 13 to the public, but in the mean time, the company is launching its second beta of iOS 13.1.
iOS 13.1 beta 2 and iPadOS 13.1 beta 2 are now rolling out to registered developers. The update can be downloaded over the air on your iPhone or iPad, or you can get it from Apple's Developer Center on the web and load it onto your device that way.
The update to iOS 13.1 includes features that were announced for iOS 13 earlier this year but then disappeared from that update during testing. Those include Shortcuts Automations, Share ETA for sharing your ETA for a location in Apple Maps, updates to Dynamic Wallpapers, and improved mouse support that lets you map a long press or 3D Touch to the right click.
There's no word yet on when iOS 13.1 might launch to the public, but if Apple is already testing it with a second beta before iOS 13 is out, we could see iOS 13.1 released shortly after iOS 13 launches.
