Verizon today confirmed its 10th mobile 5G city.
Phoenix is the latest city to get Verizon 5G. It'll officially go live tomorrow, August 23.
Initially, Verizon's 5G coverage in Phoenix will be concentrated in the downtown area around landmarks like the Phoenix Convention Center, Talking Stick Resort Arena, The Orpheum Theatre, CityScape, and Chase Field. 5G coverage will also be available in Tempe on the Arizona State University Campus.
Verizon also confirmed today that it's partnering with Boingo Wireless to bring 5G coverage to indoor areas and public spaces, such as airports, stadiums, office buildings, and hotels. Verizon and Boingo are working to create a hyper-dense network designed for large and small indoor spaces.
Finally, Verizon's got some 5G smartphone news. We already know that Verizon will be the first carrier to offer the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ 5G, and now we know when it'll be available: tomorrow, August 23.
Pricing for the Galaxy Note 10+ 5G will start at $36.11 per month on a 36-month Verizon Device Payment plan, or you can opt 24 monthly payments of $54.16 per month. The full retail price of the Note 10+ 5G will be $1,299.99.
