This is turning out to be a big week for Samsung leaks. We've already gotten clear looks at the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+, and now some details on an upcoming Samsung tablet have surfaced.
Samsung's next high-end tablet will be the Galaxy Tab S6. It'll include a dual rear camera setup, shows the images from SamMobile, which would be a first for a Samsung tablet. These are said to be a 13MP main camera and a 5MP ultra-wide snapper. Below the rear cameras we can see a groove where you'll be able to magnetically attach the Galaxy Tab S6's included S Pen stylus to charge it wirelessly.
The Galaxy Tab S6 is also rumored to include a Snapdragon 855 processor, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB and 256GB storage options. The display will reportedly measure in at 10.5 inches, and according to a report from 91mobiles, the Super AMOLED screen will include an in-display fingerprint sensor. There doesn't appear to be a fingerprint reader on the back of the device in the leaked images, so an in-display fingerprint sensor is definitely a possibility.
It's expected that Samsung will offer Wi-Fi-only and LTE variants of the Galaxy Tab S6. Also said to be coming is a keyboard cover accessory for those times you need to feel real keys beneath your fingers.
Samsung's last flagship tablet was the Galaxy Tab S4, which launched in August 2018. It had a large, high-res display, quad speakers, and an included S Pen stylus. It's great to hear that Samsung is working on a follow-up, because there aren't a ton of new Android tablets coming to market anymore, especially high-end models. For those folks who want a flagship-tier Android tablet to get work done, the Galaxy Tab S6 sounds like it could be a good fit.
It's not known when the Galaxy Tab S6 will make its official debut, but with a Samsung event happening on August 7th and IFA 2019 scheduled for early September, an announcement could be close.
