Microsoft's Your Phone app allows you to see your Android phone's incoming calls and texts on your Windows PC, and this week it's gaining another feature.
Your Phone can now mirror your Android device's notifications on your PC. Microsoft confirmed the news this week, saying that you can "receive and manage" your Android phone's notifications on your Windows laptop or desktop.
To get these mirroring features working, you'll need to install the Your Phone Companion app on your Android 7.0 or higher device and grab the Your Phone app on your Windows PC.
In addition to mirroring notifications, Your Phone allows you to read and reply to text messages from your computer, get access to your most recent photos on your phone from your PC, and drag and drop photos to use in apps on your computer.
Mirror notifications is a great addition to Microsoft's Your Phone app. The goal of the app is to let you see your phone's incoming alerts on your PC so you don't have to keep swapping between your computer and phone, and now you can see incoming notifications from all of your Android device's apps, which should result in you picking up your phone less and less.
