Grab a pen and mark your calendars, Galaxy Note fans, because Samsung appears to have confirmed the date for the reveal of its next big thing.
Samsung today announced that it's hosting an event on August 7th in New York. This Unpacked event will include "The Next Galaxy", and the teaser appears to show an S Pen stylus pointing to a single camera.
While Samsung doesn't explicitly say that this event will include the Galaxy Note 10, it's highly likely that that's what in the company's plans. Not only will August 7th be almost exactly one year after the announcement of the Galaxy Note 9, but Samsung's teaser includes an S Pen, which is one of the Galaxy Note series' signature features.
Also of note is the single camera in this teaser. Leaks and rumors have suggested that the Note 10 will have a single hole-punch camera located at the center of the top of the screen, and that's what Samsung appears to be teasing here. The Galaxy S10 series had hole-punch cameras, too, but those were locaed in the upper right corner of the screen.
Other rumors have said that the Note 10 will be available in two screen sizes, 6.28-inch and 6.75-inch, and that there will be 4G LTE and 5G versions available. A 4500mAh battery is another rumored feature, and considering that this is a 2019 flagship Android phone we're talking about, a Snapdragon 855 processor is also likely for at least some versions of the Note 10. It's also been rumored that the Note 10 will not include a 3.5mm headphone jack.
