Amazon currently offers a few ways to get your package, including delivery on your doorstep, in your car's trunk, or at an Amazon Locker, and now there's another option.
Amazon today launched Counter in the U.S. Counter is Amazon's network of staffed pickup points that'll let you snag your package at an in-store partner. It originally launched in the U.K. and Italy, and now it's available in more than 100 Rite Aid stores across the U.S., with expansion planned to 1,500 Rite Aid stores by the end of 2019.
To use Counter, you'll just select one of the Counter pickup points available in your ZIP code when you're checking out on Amazon. When the package arrives at your store, you'll get an email with a unique barcode along with the store's address and business hours. After you get to the store you'll show your barcode to the staff who will scan it and then give you your package. You'll have 14 days to pick up your package after it's delivered.
It's always great to get more options when it comes to picking up your Amazon packages, especially when you can have your package dropped off at a secure location like these Rite Aid stores. Have you ever used an alternate Amazon delivery method like Amazon Key or an Amazon Locker?
