Now that the OnePlus 7 Pro is officially in the hands of users, OnePlus has surely been getting lots of bug reports, feedback, and other info on how the device could be improved. Now OnePlus has shared an update on some of the feedback it's gotten.
OnePlus says that it's considering adding an Always On Display feature to the OnePlus 7 Pro. "We are working on improving power consumption efficiency for this feature before we implement it," OnePlus says. Also under consideration is video support for the OP7 Pro's wide angle camera, with OnePlus saying that it's "monitoring demand" for the feature and will start looking into whether it's a feature that can be added to the OP7 Pro.
OnePlus also confirmed that it's looking into the ghost touch issues that are plaguing some OnePlus 7 Pro owners. "We are currently working on this issue and hope to solve it asap," says OnePlus.
Finally, the company chimed in on the OnePlus 7 Pro's battery life. OnePlus explains that in its testing, the OP7 Pro battery life is "greatly improved" compared to the OnePlus 6 and is "very close" to the OnePlus 6T. OnePlus also notes that the OnePlus 7 Pro includes faster WarpCharge 30 charging to help you recharge your OP7 Pro more quickly.
Despite all that, OnePlus has pledged to continue optimizing the firmware of the OnePlus 7 Pro to improve its battery life.
