Today's a big day for Sprint, because the carrier has announced the launch timing for its first two 5G devices.
Sprint will launch the LG V50 ThinQ 5G and HTC 5G Hub on May 31st. If you're interested in either device, you'll be able to pre-order tomorrow, May 17th, from Sprint's website.
Both the LG V50 ThinQ 5G and HTC 5G Hub will be initially available in Sprint's first 5G markets: Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, and Kansas City. They'll then expand to Sprint's other 5G markets — Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, Phoenix, and Washington D.C. — in a few weeks.
Sprint is celebrating the launch of its first 5G devices with limited time pricing. The LG V50 ThinQ 5G will be available at $0 down and $24 per month with an 18-month Sprint Flex lease when you activate a new line or have an eligible upgrade. That's half off the LG V50 ThinQ's normal $48 per month rate. Its full retail price is $1,152.
The HTC 5G Hub will be available for $12.50 per month, half off its normal price, with a 24-month installment agreement and a new line of service. Customers can get 100GB of high-speed data for the HTC 5G Hub mobile hotspot for $60 per month with autopay.
Customers who purchase either of Sprint's new 5G devices will get a three-month subscription to Hatch, a cloud gaming service. It includes more than 100 premium mobile games, competitive leaderboards, and ad-free gaming.
