TCL is teaming up with Verizon to launch the first Alcatel smartphone on the Big Red network.
The Alcatel Avalon V is now available from Verizon in stores and online. Pricing is set at $4.16 per month for 24 months, or $99.99 full retail.
In exchange for your hard-earned dollars, you'll get an Android 8.1 Oreo smartphone with a 5.34-inch 960x480 display. There's a 5MP camera with flash on the back of the Alcatel Avalon V as well as a 2MP front camera for all your selfie needs. Inside the phone is a quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and a microSD slot. Powering the Avalon V is a 2460mAh battery.
Other notable specs of this new Alcatel phone include support for VoLTE and VoWiFi, mobile hotspot support for up to 10 devices, and a microUSB port. Oh, and there's a 3.5mm headphone jack, which is a welcome sight since not every smartphone released nowadays has a headphone port.
