Android users are going to start seeing a new-look Google Assistant on their phones.
Google is now rolling out a visual update to Google Assistant on Android phones that will provide better visual responses and more complete information at a glance. This includes answers with cards that'll more clearly present the information that you're looking for.
Along with a new UI for categories like events, this visual update also brings tools like a tip calculator, metronome music pacer, and bubble level.
Google also notes that while visual responses are nice, sometimes the best response to a question is a bunch of links to various sources across the web. When this happens, you'll get the full set of search results from the web. This may include existing ads that you'd normally see in Google Search today.
This updated Google Assistant looks like a nice improvement. As you can see in the examples above and below, the new-look Assistant is much more visual, making it easier to see and understand what's being presented to you. This new Google Assistant is now rolling out to Android phones, so be on the lookout for it!
