Spotify and Samsung expand partnership, offer free Spotify Premium to Galaxy S10 owners

Today's the day that the Galaxy S10 arrives in the U.S., but that's not the only news that Samsung has to share today.

Spotify and Samsung have expanded their partnership, announcing today that Spotify will be preinstalled on millions of new Samsung devices around the world. That includes the Galaxy S10 series that's launching today as well as the Galaxy Fold and select Galaxy A models.

What's more, consumers in the U.S. who buy a Galaxy S10, S10+, or S10e can get six months of free Spotify Premium service. To qualify for this deal, you have to be a new Spotify user, meaning that you haven't subscribed to Spotify Premium or used a free trial in the past.

With a Spotify Premium subscription, you get ad-free listening, downloads for offline listening, high-quality 320kbps streaming, on-demand streaming, and unlimited skips. Spotify Premium normally costs $9.99 per month, so this is a nice little addition to your new Galaxy S10 if you qualify.
