The Huawei P30 and P30 Pro are set to make their official debut on March 26th, the one of the upcoming flagships decided to show itself a little early.
New photos give us a first look at the Huawei P30 Pro. The folks at Digital Trends got to handle a prototype at MWC this week, showing off the device's triple rear camera setup. The device is said to be the same physical size of the Huawei P20 Pro but with the tapered edges of the Mate 20 Pro. There's a USB-C port on the bottom of the device, but no 3.5mm headphone jack.
Unfortunately, this particular model was a non-working prototype, so we don't get to see it with the screen on or anything like that. Huawei did say that the design was nearly completely final, though.
The design of this Huawei P30 Pro doesn't look hugely different from last year's P20 Pro, but there are some small changes that should help to make it better. For example, the three rear cameras are all in the same housing now, while the P20 Pro had two rear cameras in one housing and the third camera separate. Having all three cameras in one housing helps to give the phone a cleaner look.
