Love to test new features before the general public? If so, you may want to try Twitter's new app.
Twitter today announced that it's launching the Twitter Prototype Program, which will let you try out upcoming features in an app called "twttr". Twitter says it wants to make it "easier to read, understand and join conversations". Responses to tweets will be indented and have a more rounded look, and some will be colored, like blue for you.
It can be tough to follow Twitter threads with lots of replies, but these changes could really help. Not only will the indented replies make it easier to follow a thread, but tweets colored gray for the original tweeter and blue for people you follow will help you to see the tweets from people that you care most about.
Since these features are in the Twitter Prototype Program, it's possible that they could undergo changes before they're rolled out to the public or get scrapped altogether. If you like Twitter, getting into this program could be a fun way to try out early features and give feedback to the Twitter team on what works and what doesn't. If you're interested, check out the tweet below to apply.
